Book - “Bushido of Dog” – by Carla Francis

After the success of "Zen of Cat", "Bushido of Dog" was finally published!

Just like the previous book, this edition also includes our interviews Jun & Masayo.

This time, the theme is dogs and "Bushido", exploring insights and wisdom that may help guide us through life.

Written in English while drawing deeply from Japanese philosophy, the book follows a similar approach to that of Nitobe Inazō’s Bushido. 

We have to admit, we didn’t know at first that Inazō Nitobe’s Bushido was originally written in English. However, we now feel that writing it in English from the beginning may have allowed the essence of the Japanese philosophy to come through more clearly and directly.

We believe it offers fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of these timeless ideas.

Carla Francis is the author of a popular travel guide and has contributed to various pet and travel publications over many years including The Japan Times, CaravanWorld, Camper Trailer Australia, Urban Animal and Horses and People, Go See Australia and The Pet Directory. A self-confessed animal fanatic, Carla has featured internationally in CatWorld UK, and in Australia on SBS radio. Her most recent book has also proven very popular indeed - Travelling with Pets on Australia’s East Coast (5th edition).
